OMGZ

Great news friends, last night there was a re-run of Glee on at 10pm so obviously I watched it. But that's not the exciting part...I guess the channel has a website with some of the new episodes on it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH there isn't all of them, but still what an improvement!!! YESSSSSSSS I am so happy!

Also today in Food & Environment we watched this insane movie about bees, that was slightly disturbing but also shocking. It made me think of Brittany because she hates bees, and she would have hated it. In the movie they showed a clip of London which made me think of Harry Potter Then I got SUPER DUPER excited just thinking about Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, and of course the Wizarding World! I couldn't stop smiling and I got butterflies. It was a great feeling. Now I am watching Ellen hurrayyyyyyyy :)

KOALA

We went to the Zoo today it was awesome! We all got to hold a koala and feed kangaroos. We also saw a crocodile feeding which was terrifying. I was running away from what I thought was a crocodile coming to eat Corine and I, and I slipped and fell on my bum. not so funny. Katie almost got her face eaten off by a pelican, it was real scary I screamed pretty loud which was kinda unnecessary since it didn't affect me at all but whatever. It was a great day full of activities :)

Brittany leaves for Spain tomorrow yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaayyy!!!!!!!!! I am sooo excited for her and she is going to have an amazing time!!!! I will miss you sooooo much love you girrrrrl!:)

World Record

Today we went to Josephine Falls, Bramstone Beach, and Babinda Boulders. At the Falls we set the world record for longest chain of people to go down this rock slide thing into the water. The record was 10 FSU students last year, and we did it with 12 hey-oooooooo! It was really exciting it took us about 100 tries because i kept messing up and breaking the chain, oops. It was pretty awesome considering I have never broken a world record before. Today was a good day. Then we went to the gas station and they had Crispy M&M's!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Isn't that amazing?!! They discontinued them in the States and when I saw them I was just ecstatic. My family went to La Casita for dinner and I am pretty jeal since I have been craving Mexican food like CRAZZZZZY. I would kill for some Moe's right now.

GREAT BARRIER REEF!!!!!!!

The great barrier reef was absolutely AMAZING!!!!!!! I was soo so so so scared of the jelly fish and thought for sure I got stung by one, but I was of course just being silly and paranoid. We had to wear these ridiculous stinger suits that were full onsies with a hood. Everyone looked like aliens/ninjas but I felt super cool and professional.

Also I learned today I am not the best swimmer. I kept getting really frazzled and felt like I was drowning. weird. There were optional noodles available for flotation devices. I was the only person who used one besides a 4 year old and an 85 year old woman. embarrassing.

We saw a shark and a sea turtle, and obviously a million pretty fish, it was awesome!!! I had such a great time, I LOVE IT HERE!!! There were three different stops on the reef I did the first two, then Corine, Jason and I sat out on the last one. We talked to the Skipper who was an interesting fellow, with great insight. It was so so so much fun and I have to go take a 3 hour shower now to get the ocean out of my hair. "It was so much easier when I was bald." (FRIENDS reference) love :)

GLEE

I just bought all of the Glee songs even though I haven't seen the episodes oops. I also just watched "I dreamed a dream" with Idina on youtube and was hysterically crying. what a duo! I miss gleeeeeeeeeeeeeee! Going to the Great Barrier Reef today woooooooooooo gotta watch out for those box jellies yikes!

Shopping

Today the girls and I (minus Corine) went into the city to go shopping. We were going to the beach, but the weather was grossss. I bought some really cute black flats, and a tank for $5 and the proceeds went to saving wild animals! Yay wild animals! I also got a banana smoothie that was deliciously refreshing! I skyped Kate today! It is always nice to see her glorious face. Our convo was short because Glee was on, which made me extremely jealous. I also talked to Brittany today for like an hour which was fantastic. She looked great and leaves for Spain in a week yayaaa!

I just finished my first assignment for Food and Environment so that was exciting. Annah and I were sitting on our couch completing the assignment when Kylie called Annah into the bathroom very secretly. I knew immediately that there was a lizard in there and they were trying to hide it from me. They refuse to admit that there is a lizard but I know it. I can just sense these kinds of things. All I have to say is I probably will be sleeping with one eye opened tonight.

Near Death Experience (kind of)

So today we went to a creek to go swimming and have a BBQ. The swimming was wonderful, the BBQ however was terrifying. There I was trying to live my life and 2 huge lizards (kimono dragon-like)came strolling into our very nice picnic. Everyone thought it was sooooo cool, but not me. I had a MAJOR MAJOR panic attack and started freaking out, and then cried. No one understood my fear of lizards, but now they do. I felt silly, but not really. I didn't let anyone get remotely close to me for at least 42 minutes. I couldn't even eat my delicious kangaroo sausage because I was so nauseous from the monster lizards. So after we left I had to get ice cream (coffee ice cream that is) because I was sooo hungry. As I was enjoying my yummy treat I spilled it all over my white shirt! That's what I call a rough day. I am watching Harry Potter now to calm my nerves whoooo.

Also my friend Annah called me Rachie today which no one else in the world does except ALICIA and I miss her soooooooooooooooooooo much, love you Alicia :)

CAIRNS

Hello! I have arrived in Cairns!!!!!!! I am in my dorm getting settled, it is absolutely breathtaking here the mountains are incredible! Corine and I kept imagining Mighty Joe Young jumping out of the jungle and eating us. He didn't though.

We took a tour of the Sydney Opera House in Sydney and it was AMAZING!!! I think it might have been the most spectacular things I have ever seen in my life. I am in love with it I took about a million of the same picture because I am just so amazed by the architecture.

I am listening to Whitney Houston right now ("I will always love you") what an intense song. I am singing along obviously which of course my roommates appreciate. I had the most amazing day with Nadine and Pat, Debbie's parents we had so much fun. They took me to Watson's Bay and we had a wonderful lunch, couldn't thank them enough!! I am having such a great time and I really like everyone in my program I feel like we have gotten to know each other so well in such a short period of time. I have been giggling quite a lot lately for no reason at all, but I like it. Everyone wants to Bungee jump and sky dive and i said NO! way too scary they are such daredevils so craaazzzzy!

I really miss Glee and Vampire Diaries wah. I think we are just hanging out tonight but hopefully I will be able to post a lot more since I have internet access yayyyyyy! Love and miss all :)

Most Magical Place in the World

Hello Friends!!!! I am soooo sorry I haven't made any posts we don't have internet access in Sydney so I am at a coffee shop right now hehee! Sydney is absolutely the coolest place I have ever been in the world! It is beautiful and fun and everyone is sooo friendly.

We have been going to the beach, snorkeling, going to museums, and going on tours and it's is incredible. My favorite thing so far has been this town called Manly. It is such an amazing beach, and the views are awesome. My friend Corrine and I decided we are going to become millionaires and move there immediately (by marrying Zac of course and forcing him to move with me).

Today we went to Bondi Beach where Zac Efron was seen surfing about a week ago, don't worry I kissed the sand and rolled around in it to soak up all his juices. We also saw Russell Crowe's yacht today which is pretty cool. I really like everyone in my group its 6 boys and 6 girls, and we all bonded really fast. There are quite a few Asians here which was surprising, but also interesting. I feel like this city is every city in the world combined into one. I will be walking down the street and think I am in China and then Greece and then Germany...so strange.

I miss everyone so much I can't even explain. I hope all is well back home and my Gainesville girls are having fun :) I will be in Cairns on May 13 where I will have internet so I will be updating a lot more. I love you all soooooooo much

Departure Tomorrow!!!

Tomorrow is the big day!!!!!! I am leaving at 4:00pm and getting to Sydney 4:30pm Tuesday (Fort Myers time) but 6am Wednesday morning (Sydney time)!!! I am soooooooooooooo excited!!!!! I will miss everyone very very much but I will try and blog as much as possible. I am hoping for a Zac Efron sighting in L.A. along with a marriage proposal. Debbie gave me great advice for the plane which I needed because I have been frantic. She also made me try Vegimite. Not recommended. :) Well I am off! Au Revior!!!!!!!!!!!! Love you all
